Atty. Joel Arzaga is the Firm’s founder and managing partner, bringing in a unique combination of legal practice, government corporate managerial experience, academic leadership, and policy advocacy.

Legal Expertise and Leadership
Corporate and Energy Law
Atty. Joel provides counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation, with a specialization in advising private energy firms. He serves as legal counsel and Corporate Secretary for various companies and was previously appointed as Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer of two state energy corporations.
Litigation
Atty. Joel handles criminal, civil, commercial, and special proceedings cases before various courts, including practice before appellate courts, the Sandiganbayan, and the Supreme Court.
Commercial Transactions
Atty. Joel assists clients in property transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate crisis management, dispute resolution, investor support, and business strategies.
Local Government and Public Policy
Atty. Joel has served as legal consultant to local government units and legislators, helping align policies with development and governance objectives.
Legislative Advocacy
As Vice-President for Legislative Affairs of the Alliance for the Family Foundation, Inc. (ALFI), he actively engages in advocacy in defense of the Filipino family.
Educational Leadership and Policy Advocacy
Atty. Joel is a professor of law and the Institute Secretary of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. He has also served as resource person on legal issues before the House of Representatives, the Senate of the Philippines, and various media outlets. Atty. Joel has also contributed opinion pieces and articles for law journals, local papers, and national broadsheets. He has also lectured on different fora in the Philippines and abroad on topics on the Constitution, marriage, family, and international relations.
Atty. Joel also attended the Moral Foundations of Law Program at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, New Jersey, deepening his understanding of the ethical dimensions of law.
In 2019, he served as Advocacy Fellow of the World Youth Alliance (New York, USA), where he represented the organization at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
He received the Viktor Frankl Award in 2022 from the same institution for his contributions to human dignity advocacies.
